Objective:  You will learn what a time signature is and how it is used in music.  You will learn how music and math works together.  You will learn to compose a rhythm pattern.

        These are time signatures.

    They determine the number of 

    beats used in a measure in a song.          

 

 

1.The time signature has two numbers.

2. There is a top number and a bottom number.

3. Each number means something

different.

 

 

The top number tells how

many beats per measure.

 

The bottom number tells

how many beats per note..
